The session started with Quran and Naat recitation. Our trainer asked participants to voluntarily present their Reflections. I was anxious as well as desperately wanting to take an expert feedback over my reflection and so I was the first to raise hand. Trainer's feedback was very encouraging and motivating and it is a fact that looking at my first and second day reflections, this training has refined my writing skills and the learning point from this scenario is, students learn from practicing. After taking few reflections, our next section was on developing Portfolio. Trainer started with showing Portfolio organization in OneNote app. I was using the same app to take notes. This is the most interesting and exciting part of our training. Unlike a written document, e Portfolio is really a great idea to learn new technological tools. Mr Fida Hussain then took over the session and continued demonstration of google sites. I had already explored and develop a basic layout of my portfolio, he showed few more options which I practiced during the session. One of the participant, during his discussion, pointed out few more tools which can be used for website development. Mr Dahri, joined us with a short explanation of CANVA. I was so excited to see so many templates being offered at CANVA that I at once decided to develop another one. While using CANVA, I was really thankful to PITE for providing me with opportunity to learn something which is related to my own field. I am now passionate to teach the same to my students with the hope that such skills can uplift them financially. The ending session was about lesson planning. The most challenging and difficult part of the day was todays assignment. We have to use flip to post our videos giving answer of 3 questions about lesson plan. Reflecting and thinking about the answer was easy but picture and video recording is always my weakness. In my personal life, my belief is we have created a culture where people have stopped enjoying the moment which is here… instead they remained behind the cameras while that moment pass by quietly. But for this assignment, I do understand that such tools have helped the educators around the world in COVID scenario and this has to be part of our education too if incase such pandemic situation would ever return back. (May Allah forbid!) It was really a tiring experience but in the end I shared my experiences and knowledge with the class and am watching other participants posting the same. Few of our friends are using their creative skills in video making and this really is the take away lesson that once method is beautiful, what and how questions for learning are not the matter of too much concern.
