The School Education & Literacy Department (SELD) continues its commitment to enhancing the professional capacity of IT Teachers through mandatory promotional training programs. In this regard, the Provincial Institute of Teacher Education (PITE) Sindh organized a 12-day training program aimed at strengthening IT Teachers’ content knowledge, promoting the integration of educational technology tools, and fostering IT innovation in classrooms. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Mairaj Bhatti, Chairman, Department of Computer Science, Quaid-e-Awam University, and Ms. Farzana Mallah, PITE Trainer. While Mr. Bhatti’s sessions focused on emerging technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and their classroom applications, Ms. Farzana led enriching modules on pure pedagogy, emphasizing reflective teaching, learner engagement, and effective lesson planning. Together, the sessions created a perfect balance between digital innovation and pedagogical depth, helping participants understand how technology can enhance—not replace—the human connection in learning. These reflections represent my 12-day journey of growth as an educator, innovator, and lifelong learner navigating the evolving landscape of education.
